Bazaarvoice has restored all Portal users and roles, including those created after 9.10 UTC. As functionality is now fully restored, this incident is being marked as resolved. Please reach out to Bazaarvoice Support for any remaining issues.

Bazaarvoice has used a database snapshot from 9.10 UTC today to restore missing Portal Roles. We are still working to restore changes made after 9.10 UTC (new users being added after 9.10 UTC, adjustments to Portal roles made after 9.10 UTC, etc.) so some users may still experience issues with login or access to some functionality. Investigation into root cause is also ongoing.

Bazaarvoice is continuing to work to restore other Portal Roles to ensure users have access to all expected functionality. Updates will be provided as soon as they are available or by the time below.

Update
Bazaarvoice has restored the “User” Portal Role which should restore Portal login functionality. Other Portal Roles are still missing so users may not have access to all the normal functionality once they’ve logged in. Work to restore the remaining Portal Roles is ongoing.

Bazaarvoice identified that Portal roles had been removed from users, preventing login. We are working to restore the Portal roles to resolve the Portal login functionality. Investigation into the root cause is also ongoing.

Bazaarvoice has identified an issue that is causing a degradation of Portal login. A root cause has yet to be determined. We will provide an update at the designated time below or when new information becomes available whichever comes first.
